Additional Information

Capital. Capital Capital. And, access to it. Many Black entrepreneurs cite this as one of the biggest obstacles to daily operations as well as scalability.

There are numerous reasons for lack of capital for many Black-owned business including inequalities caused by systemic racism, the wealth gap and lack of a relationship with a banker.

Having access to capital (even small amounts) can make a big difference. Sometimes a small infusion of cash for a business can help with bills, rent or mortgage, or simply, meeting payroll. Whether a new startup or a long established business, a small amount of capital can be a lifeline. We know what it's like to need just a small amount of money until that next order purchase occurs.

That being said, our initiative might just be getting started but we're already looking to the future! In the coming months, we'll be launching our Black Economic Empowerment Fund. Our fund will be designed with you in mind. Small business grants (not loans) up to $1,000 to help keep the lights on, the rent or staff paid or just help purchase materials for production. We want to help.
